Colorful Stitches Knotted Openwork Baby Hat Pattern

Simpler than it appears, this hat is knitted flat and then seamed. It has a picot edge for more interest and each stitch motif makes a bauble texture. The design can be worked in solid, but is especially interesting with a handpainted yarn as shown.
