Mirasol Ushya

Chainette-spun super bulky merino wool yarn is great for warmth without excess weight. Ushya is super soft as well. Ushya’s literal translation from Quechua, the language of the Mirasol shepherds, is “soft”. Accessories to sweaters to throws, they’re all great ways to use this yarn.

The merino wool for all Mirasol yarns comes from sheep raised on the highlands of Peru. A portion of every purchase of Mirasol yarns is returned to the remote Peruvian community of Munani in the region of Puno where it helps to fund a local school.
