Fern River Farm Shetland 2-ply

This yarn is produced in Vermont...what we call 'local' New England yarn. The 100% fine fleece Shetland wool is softer than many Shetland wools, and is presented in natural undyed colors. It is a medium, 2-ply worsted weight. It is directly from the fiber flock of Shetland sheep at Fern River Farm, processed at a local Vermont fiber mill. Sheep who contributed to this yarn: Paige, Parsley, Pepper, Sweet Pea, Equinox, Frog and Storm.
