Colorful Stitches Zigzag Fingerless Mitts Pattern

These colorful fingerless mitts are knit flat using two patterns - stockinette and Herringbone Lace - and then seamed. The lace falls on top of the hand while stockinette is found on the palm. Cuff and top edge are knt in garter stitch as is the trim around the thumb slit. For the patterns to fall right, one mitt is worked from top to bottom and the second from bottom to top. Buttons are decorative so use any size or amount you want, or don't use.
